The Fairground
Image size 55 x 34.5 cm 21½ x 13½ inches
The detail in this limited edition print is exceptional. Like all Lewis Bennett's work it is entirely from his imagination. Most of the names shown represent people important in his life. He always liked to include animals in his paintings and had a great eye for detail, even to the rubbish left behind outside the fence. A real treasure for all those who knew and loved the old-fashioned fairgrounds.

I thought I would add this last section to my web site as I feel it is in the same theme as keeping alive video memories from the past. He painted these after he retired and had so much interest from people who saw them that after a suggestion from one of my customers he contacted a publisher who published them.
My Father died in 1995 but I feel that his paintings keep his memories alive.
Unframed prints can be purchased for £36.00 + £3.50 P/P
